    Welcome/Intro (Pinned Post)

    📌 Welcome to The Blog

Hi, I’m Ash, and this blog is my little observatory of stories, culture, and creative chaos.
Here, I write about the things that catch my curiosity — whether it’s a film I can’t stop dissecting, a piece of Internet lore worth remembering, or a glimpse into the handmade worlds I’m building.

If you’re new, here’s a quick map of what you’ll find:

🎞 Pop Culture & Media Musings

Deep dives and reflections on the art we consume — old or new, niche or mainstream.

    🌐 Internet & Fandom Culture

Essays and observations on how people move through online spaces.

    🪞 Personal Reflections

More grounded pieces about creative process, inspiration, or the ebb and flow of making things.

    🧭 Project & OC Updates

Small check-ins on what I’m making: new worlds, new characters, or ongoing stories.

    🕰 Retrospectives & Time Capsules

Looking back at media moments that deserve a second life.

    Occasional Experiments

Interactive posts, tiny essays disguised as letters, or question-prompt musings.

New posts usually appear once or twice a week — sometimes longer essays, sometimes short reflections.
If you enjoy observant writing with a little wonder (and no self-deprecating Tumblr-speak), you’re in the right place.

Pull up a chair, pour something warm, and stay awhile. 🌙

  • Welcome to the New Blog

OOF! welcome to my new blog. If you haven’t heard typepad will be shutting down by the end of this month.

So I decided to move all my blogs to wordpress.

I have the backup of my old post, but I think I’m gonna start this blog off with a clean slate.

None of my post on my old blog really blew up that big ‘sides from the pixel room nostalgia post.

If anyone ask– yes I’m the homie who made the pixel room nostalgia post, I’m pretty sure someone archive that post anyways.

I’m still learning the ropes of WP. I AM really hype to blog on a newer platform, I was a bit slow to transfer my blog on here since I didn’t want it to loose the personal blog/old web feel.

But tbh, that feel comes from the content one post rather than the overall aesthetic of the platform.

I’m REAL excited because I feel like my webfiction/webcomics will really thrive on the WP platform since they are dedicated themes for those projects.

I MIGHT play around with the more sleek themes if I’m feeling real professional but messing around with the native block site builder is cool for now.

I don’t have much else to say since I really want to get my writing and art blog set up so..

    Later days~
